Funds Transfer Scheme for Chinese, Indian, Sri Lankan and Filipino students.
ANZ works with Immigration New Zealand to help students from China, India, Philippines and Sri Lanka organise their banking in New Zealand. The Fund Transfer Scheme was established to help verify proof of funds to assist with visa processing by Immigration New Zealand.
Students can open an account with ANZ before they arrive in New Zealand. ANZ will confirm to Immigration New Zealand upon receipt of funds into the student's New Zealand account. The funds are then held in a savings account with regular instalments being paid to the student for their day to day living expenses.
