Notice for graduates of the Level 3 qualifications regarding pay equity

We are NZQA recognised and approved to deliver the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Health Care Assistant). Code 2470.

The qualification you have earnt does entitle you the graduate to the Level 3 equivalent pay under pay equity.

Your employer may look at the following website for confirmation of your entitlement under the pay equity settlement. Just above the table of listed qualifications and providers there is the following sentence – “If your National Certificate or National Diploma from a Polytechnic or other education provider has the same name as one on this list, it is the same qualification, and has the same equivalency.”

The qualification you have earnt does entitle you the graduate to the Level 4 equivalent pay under pay equity.
