Mental Health in the Workplace

Mental Health in the Workplace
$80.00 NZD

Many of us hear and see people living with mental distress. They are our family, friends and people in our network; school, work, church, sports etc.

The mental health of yourself and your colleagues in the workplace is everyone's responsibility and the effects of ill health are wide ranging.

In some countries, for example New Zealand, this shared responsibility is mandated in law and in others it is seen as an ethical and social responsibility.

This course teaches you about mental health and how to recognise mental distress. It recognises mental distress in the workplace and the ethical and legal responsibility of the employee.   It helps to address the problem of mental ill health before it becomes an issue especially in the workplace and in the home.
